One of the pillars of our commitment to bettering ourselves and our community is our philanthropic activity. We leverage our time and resources to give back to those that need them and the result is always encouraging and uplifting. We are always looking for ways to mobilize the Young Professionals of Naples to participate in the activities of local nonprofits whether it is manual labor, fund raising, raising awareness or just a fun walk or run to support a great cause.
We encourage you to learn more about YP Naples and help us make a difference!
Past Philanthropic Events
In May 2016 we got down and dirty volunteering at the gardens by helping with mulching and planting. Members had fun contributing to the gardens beauty while receiving a tour of the fruit and vegetable gardens.
The event is an annual tribute for the change of seasons in Naples and this year benefited the Collier Harvest. The Young Professionals supported the event as a VIP Sponsor. We highly recommend this event to anyone who has not yet been! With the canoe theme “Hunger Games”, our take was a bright yellow Hungry Hippo with chariot and moving mouth! While our canoe did not take first prize we did gobble up honorable mention.

YP members walk and celebrate survivors at the 2014 Making Strides walk for the American Cancer Society. Walkers raised $250 and what an amazing stroll through the Naples estates!
Relay For Life American Cancer Society

We hosted the Children’s Home Society at Pizza Fusion for a special wine tasting event and raised $500 in less than two hours! That weekend YP volunteered at Huggie Bears Child Care and Learning Center. Face painting was all the rage!
During our November networking event in 2014 we hosted the Harry Chapin Food Bank and in just 2 hours we piled up almost 300lbs of nonperishable food items! This was just in time for thanksgiving and we could not be happier with our members for coming out in force! This is a tradition we hope to keep going every year!
Annual Mini Masters Tournament
This year we celebrated our 5th Annual Mini Masters event with Big Brothers Big Sisters and partnered Bigs and Littles in one of the most grueling and challenging put put courses in SW Florida. This event really gives our Young Professionals an opportunity to experience what being a Big means and to make a Little’s day. We are really looking forward to our next one in 2016!
The Young Professionals of Naples supported ANYSOLDIER by gathering CD’s, DVD’s, toiletries and snacks to be sent in care packages to our troops serving our country abroad.
