Saturday, March 27, 2010. START FORMING TEAMS! Saturday March 27, 2010. Last year, 18 teams competed in a rigorous tournament to crown a Champion. This year will undoubtedly prove better than last year's tournament! Cost of the tournament is $60 for a team of 6-8 (maximum of 6 can play on the court at a time, the remainder are alternates). All proceeds to benefit The Children's Advocacy Center. The Tournament will be held at Fleishmann park on Saturday, March 27, 2010 and will begin at 10:00 A.M. To sign up a team, please go here. Download the application, fill it out, attach $60, mail it in to the address at the bottom of the application, and have your team show up on March 27 at 10:00 A.M. To receive a shirt, all applications and money must be received by March 19, 2010. Any applications received thereafter may be accepted to play in the tournament, but the teams will not receive the Free T-shirt for participating. For all questions, please email Chris Donovan at

Race for A Cure for Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Research |

|
Join YP Naples at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® Series, the largest series of 5K runs/fitness walks in the world, raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease. Since its inception in 1983, the Komen Race for the Cure series has grown from one local Race with 800 participants to a global series of more than 120 Races with more than 1 million people expected to participate in 2009.
The Komen Race for the Cure is a unique event, designed and implemented to promote positive awareness, education and early detection of breast cancer. It has proved to be an enormously effective way to reach many women and men with the message that breast cancer is not necessarily fatal if mammography and breast self-exam become routine. As well as being a road race for runners, the Komen Race for the Cure is an emotionally charged event that attracts many first timers and recreational runners. The Komen Race for the Cure is an opportunity for thousands of women, men and their families, running or walking, to spread the breast cancer message within their communities.
Seventy-five percent of the funds raised remains right here in Southwest Florida to help provide breast health research, diagnostics, screening, treatment, services and education for uninsured or underinsured women. The remaining 25 percent goes to fund national research to discover the causes of breast cancer and, ultimately, its cures.
To join the YP Naples team, go to: Komen Site and enter YP Naples where it says "Team Name" and then click "Search for a Team." The site will then guide you through registration. Registration for the race is $25 for the 5K Run/Walk and $30 for the Timed Chip Run.
Team t-shirts are available for $12 each. Please place your order for the team shirt by
